Taylor Trolia-Giron, soprano

Taylor Trolia-Giron, from Tucson, Arizona, received a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Arizona under the tutelage of Kristin Dauphinais. While at the University of Arizona, Taylor competed in varied competitions. She has received first place in the Quest for the Best Competition. In addition, she has placed in the Amelia Rieman Competition and the President’s Competition. Taylor’s role experiences include scenes programs and staged productions at the University of Arizona with the following characters:  Mimi (La bohème), The Squirrel (L’enfant et les sortilèges), The Princess (L’enfant et les sortilèges), and Blanche (Dialogue of the Carmelites). Taylor has also participated in both the Redwoods and Saarburg Opera Programs. The 2020-2021 season marks Taylor’s second-consecutive season as a Resident Artist with El Paso Opera
