HOW DO I WATCH THE SHOW?
Bon Appétit! will be enjoyed on YouTube. YouTube is accessible from any smart phone, tablet or computer. We recommend a tablet or computer so the picture is large enough for you to enjoy!
HOW/WHEN DO I RECEIVE THE LINK TO THE SHOW?
Automated emails from El Paso Opera will be sent out TODAY. The automated email will also go out again tomorrow just before the show.
WILL THERE BE A PROGRAM/PLAYBILL TO READ?
Yes! The link to read the program will also be included in the email you receive from El Paso Opera.
HOW DO I KNOW WHERE TO FIND IT ON YOUTUBE?
You don’t have to find it! Everyone who has purchased their Pay-What-You-Can ticket in advance will receive the link to watch the show via email. All you have to do is check the email associated with your ticket purchase and you will find an automated email from El Paso Opera that includes the link to the show. Just click on the link and enjoy!
Please note: it cannot be viewed just by visiting our YouTube channel. You must have the specific link from us to watch the show!
CAN I WATCH IT ON MY TV?
IF you have a smart TV, there is a YouTube app available. But the show won’t be visible just going to the YouTube app–you still have to have the private link! There are a few work arounds that will allow you to access the private link on your TV. We advise you to try this in advance so you don’t miss any of the show while you are figuring it out! These are a little complicated so if you aren’t familiar with technology, we suggest you just skip this section and plan to watch on your computer or tablet!
- CAST THE SHOW: Smart phones & tablets have the capability to ‘cast’ to a smart TV. So load the video on your phone or tablet and cast to the TV via Chromecast, Apple AirPlay or similar program. If you don’t know what that means, just ignore this option!
- INTERNET BROWSER: Smart TVs have an internet browser. Open the browser and manually enter in the private link.
- ‘WATCH LATER’ OPTION ON YOUTUBE: This option requires you have a free YouTube account and that you are signed in. When you are signed in to YouTube, you can save videos to your library to ‘watch later’. When you receive the email with the private link, click on the link. It will automatically take you to YouTube. Under the video on the lower right side, there is a ‘SAVE’ option. Click this and save to watch later. Go to you smart TV and open the YouTube app. Make sure you are signed in to YouTube! Look in your LIBRARY and the link should be saved there. Click and watch!
